About Goblin Den Games
We’re a small team based in Italy and the UK. We’ve watched the world tilt toward bite-sized, always-on content—and we wanted to help friends and families come back to something slower, socially centred, and more human: the table. What better way than games?
We’ve been making games for our own families and friends for over 20 years. Now we’re bringing those designs to a wider audience — memorable art, adventure, camaraderie and humour that make it easy to sit down, laugh, and play “one more round.”
Guiding principles
- Bring out fun — quick to teach and fun to play.
- Connection with those around us — games that spark conversation, negotiation, and in-jokes.
- Adventure — worlds with character: factions, asymmetry, and stories you’ll retell.
Made with Care, Built to Bring People Together
We start every game by picturing people around a table: kids, parents, friends who haven’t seen each other in a while. From there, we blend illustration, writing, and modern tools to bring those moments to life.
We obsess over the details you can feel – card stock, finishes, inserts that actually fit – so setup is simple and the game invites people to stay a little longer. Everything we make is designed to be handled, replayed, and proudly left out on the shelf.
Stories That Spark Imagination and Connection
Good rules make a game work; good stories make it memorable. We want every character, faction, and ability to feel like it belongs in a living world, where a bold move becomes a running joke and a close finish turns into a story you retell.
We design our worlds to inspire creativity, spark table talk, and create moments that stay with you long after the game ends. Whether you’re cheering a clever move or laughing at a chaotic twist, the shared experience is what turns a simple game night into a story worth remembering.
Games Shaped by Real Families, Friends, and our Community
Our games aren’t finished on a screen—they’re finished in living rooms, kitchens, and game nights. We put early versions in front of real families, friends, and playgroups, listening for where people laugh, lean in, or get stuck. That feedback shapes clearer rules, more meaningful choices, and plenty of ways for everyone to feel involved.
If you’d like to help us test expansions, translate rules, or bring our games to your local store or club, we’d love to hear from you.
