Privacy notice

What we collect, why, and what you can do about it. Plain English, no small print games.

Who we are

Goblin Den Games (“we”, “us”) is a small studio based in Italy and the UK. We are the controller of the personal data processed through this website.

What we collect

  • The Den mailing list (updates, free content and promotions): your email address.
  • Orders: name, contact and delivery details, and order and payment references. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.
  • Messages: whatever you send us when you get in touch.
  • Usage data: anonymous page statistics, plus more detailed analytics only if you accept analytics cookies.

Why we use it

  • Running the site: our legitimate interests.
  • Processing and shipping orders: to perform our contract with you.
  • The Den mailing list: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.
  • Analytics: your consent for anything that uses cookies.
  • Records: legal obligations, such as tax and accounting.

Who we share it with

We use a few trusted providers who process data on our behalf:

  • Hosting: Vercel, including Vercel Web Analytics (cookieless page statistics).
  • Payments: Stripe.
  • Email: MailerLite, only if you sign up.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.

They act on our instructions under data processing agreements. Where data leaves the UK or EU we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Order records: up to 7 years, for tax and accounting.
  • Messages: up to 24 months.
  • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
  • Analytics: according to each provider’s retention settings.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or move your data, and object to how we use it. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it whenever you like, including through the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. You can also complain to a supervisory authority: the ICO in the UK, or the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali in Italy.

Children

This site isn’t aimed at children under 13. If you think a child has sent us personal data, tell us and we’ll delete it.
